Original Rule Text
55. Communication of official information -
Every Government Servant shall, in performance of his duties in good faith, communicate to a member of public or any organization full and accurate information, which can be disclosed under the Right to Information Act, 2005. What This Means
Every government servant must share complete and accurate information with the public or any organization when it can be disclosed under the Right to Information Act, 2005. This means you should be transparent and helpful when people request information that is legally shareable. However, this rule does not allow you to share classified or secret information in unauthorized ways, or to use official information for personal gain or to benefit others improperly.
