9.10 DEPUTATION OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO STATE GOVERNMENTS AND VICE-VERSA 9.10.1 The Government employees whether temporary or permanent, who are deputed from Central Government to State Government and vice-versa, the system of allocation of pension/leave salary etc. has been dispensed with. This has been done in terms of Govt. of India, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms letter No.3 (20)/Pen (a)/79 dated 31.3.1982, read with the provisions contained in APPENDIX V-B, II and III to the Government Accounting Rules, 1990. The liability for pension and gratuity at the time of retirement in such cases will be fully borne by the Central or State Government to which the government employee permanently belongs.
