PROCEDURE FOR ISSUE OF A FRESH CHEQUE IN LIEU OF A LOST ONE: 5.4.1 If the Pay and Accounts Officer of a departmentalized accounts office is approached with the request for a fresh cheque in lieu of the one issued by him earlier on the grounds that it has been lost, the Pay and Accounts Officer shall proceed with such request in the manner stated below:
