According to the Applicants, they are entitled to get the Dress Allowance as per DOP&T's OM, dated 31-8-2017 as well as Circular, dated 7-12-2022 as has been held by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench vide common Order, dated 5-6-2020 in O.A. Nos. 060/01228/2019 ETC, as well as Central Administrative Tribunal, Lucknow Bench in O.A. No. 614 of 2019, dated 13-12-2022. As they are thus entitled to the said allowance, there is no question of any recovery which the Respondents are resorting to. The Respondents have filed their written statement wherein they have stated that though individual representation has been received from some employees, howeve no recovery has been made till date.
