Rule 1 — RPR

1. Short title, commencement and applicability. – (1) These rules may be called the Central Government Account (Receipts and Payments) Rules, 2022.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. (3) They shall apply to all transactions pertaining to the Central Government Ministries and Departments including Defence, Posts, Telecommunications, Railways, National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union territories without Legislature.

Note: These rules shall be applicable to National Capital Territory of Delhi to the extent of Central Government Account operations.
