6. Audit Framework (1) All audits undertaken by the Comptroller and Auditor General, or on his behalf, shall be as per the Constitution of India and the Act. The conduct of such audits shall be within the framework of these Regulations, Auditing Standards, Standing orders, Audit Quality Management Framework, Code of Ethics, Guidelines, Manuals, Guidance Notes, Practice Notes and other instructions issued by the Comptroller and Auditor General.
