53. Mandate of the Comptroller and Auditor General in regard to the audit of Government companies As per section 19 of the Act, the duties and powers of the Comptroller and Auditor General in relation to the audit of accounts of Government companies shall be performed and exercised by him in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
