Issues for audit scrutiny 3.6.9 On receipt of pension papers, the Accountant General (A&E) applies the requisite checks, records the account enfacement in Part-II of Form 7 of the Central Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 and assesses the amount of pension and gratuity and issues the Pension Payment Order not later than one month in advance of the date of retirement of the government servant if the pension is payable in his circle of accounting unit.
