Feb.1937(Ind No.PF 820) Under Rule 15 of the old General Provident Fund Rules a nominat- ion became invalid on the marriage or remarriage of a subscriber even if such nomination had been made in favour of a member of his family. A declaration made in favour of a member of a subscriber’s family and accepted under the old rules would continue to be valid automarries after the new rules came into force. Thus the new set of rules legalizes nominations which would have become invalid if the old set of rules had continued
