Application for transfer to place of choice during the last two years of service, after serving in hard station for two years should be considered in terms of the transfer guidelines and direction issued accordingly — This chunk is part of an Order Application (OA) filed by an applicant seeking transfer from a hard station in the North-East to his chosen place of posting at Maharashtra, based on transfer guideline... — Facts: This OA has been filed by the Applicant praying for consideration of his representation to transfer him from North-East to his choice place / station at Maharashtra as per guidelines.

Learned counsel appearing for the Applicant has submitted that Applicant is presently 58 years old and having two years left to superannuate from service. Further, he was posted at Shillong in the year 2021 and has already completed two years there being hard station and as per the transfer guidelines, he is entitled to be transferred to his choice place of posting at Maharashtra. The Applicant has made representations on various dates since April, 2013 and lastly on 3-7-2023, but no response. Being aggrieved with, the Applicant has filed the instant application. During the course of hearing, Learned counsel for the Applicant has fairly submitted that it would suffice the purpose of the Applicant, if the Respondent No. 2 i.e. the Director-General, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, considers Applicant's aforesaid representations in the light of transfer guidelines and communicate the decision within a stipulate period of time treating this OA as part of it.

Learned Sr. CGSC for the Respondents has no objection to such proposition.
