A sample copy of challan for collection of Corporation Tax is attached in APPENDIX b) Challan Identification No. (CIN): The CIN is generated by the Authorized Banks or the RBI (as the case may be) after the payment is received by the bank/RBI. It is an 18-character field (CRN + First 4 characters of bank’s IFSC). A sample copy of challan Receipt is shown below:
