‘US won’t be there to help you’: Trump asks UK, other allies to go to Strait of Hormuz and ‘get your own oil’

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday called out the countries who did not help America in its coordinated strikes against Iran and are now unable to get jet fuel, to buy American oil and go to the Strait of Hormuz and “just take it.”
In a message to the UK and other countries, who according to him haven’t helped US in the West Asia conflict, Trump wrote, “You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the USA won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us.”
“Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil,” Trump further said. The US president also called out France for its reluctance to allow planes, loaded with military supplies, and heading to Israel to fly over French territory.
“France has been VERY UNHELPFUL with respect to the “Butcher of Iran,” who has been successfully eliminated! The USA will REMEMBER,” Trump wrote.
The Republican leader on Monday had threatened widespread destruction of Iran’s energy plants and other vital resources, including the Kharg Island, if a deal to end the West Asia conflict is not reached “shortly.”
However, Trump has repeatedly claimed of making diplomatic progress but Tehran has denied negotiating with Washington directly. In a Truth Social post earlier, Trump said “great progress is being made” in talks with Iran to end military operations.
He added that if the deal is not reached “shortly” and the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened, America would broaden its offensive by “completely obliterating” power plants, desalination plants, and Kharg Island.
US demands are ‘excessive, unrealistic and irrational’ says Iran
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei acknowledged that Tehran had received a 15-point proposal from the Trump administration but called it “excessive, unrealistic and irrational” demands and denied that there hasn’t been any direct talks with the Washington.
Trump had earlier said that US has been negotiating with Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, AP reported. But Qalibaf, according to state media said, Iranian forces were “waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground to set them on fire and punish their regional partners forever.”
