If number of who are interested in other activities is 900 then what is the number of students who are interested in dance. a) 900 b) 500 c) 400 d) 600 Correct Answer:(d) 600 Explanation: Let the number of students in school is 100% Then Number of students interested in other activities is =100%-(50/3 + 100/3 + 25)% =75/3 % =25% This 25%=900 100%=? On solving we get 100%=900/25 100=3600 Students were interested in dance only=3600/6 =600 Incorrect Answer:(d) 600 Explanation: Let the number of students in school is 100% Then Number of students interested in other activities is =100%-(50/3 + 100/3 + 25)% =75/3 % =25% This 25%=900 100%=? On solving we get 100%=900/25 100=3600 Students were interested in dance only=3600/6 =600

#### 2. Question

In a school 16(2/3)% students were interested in dance only, 33(1/3)% were interested in music only , 25% were interested in football and rest were interested in other activities. If number of who are interested in other activities is 900 then what is the number of students who are interested in dance.

Answer:(d) 600

Explanation:

Let the number of students in school is 100%

Number of students interested in other activities is

=100%-(50/3 + 100/3 + 25)%

This 25%=900

On solving we get 100%=900/25 *100=3600

Students were interested in dance only=3600/6 =600

Answer:(d) 600

Explanation:

Let the number of students in school is 100%

Number of students interested in other activities is

=100%-(50/3 + 100/3 + 25)%

This 25%=900

On solving we get 100%=900/25 *100=3600

Students were interested in dance only=3600/6 =600

The Atacama Desert is already the driest place on Earth, and lithium extraction further strains its limited freshwater resources. Additionally, the process can harm local biodiversity, including species like flamingos that rely on the desert’s fragile ecosystems.

#### 3. Question

Present population of town P and Q is in the ratio 8:7. Present population of town Q is 14000 and it increased by 20% and 14(2/7)% in next two year. Now the population ratio of town Q to P is 24:25. Find increment in population of town P.

Answer: ()

Explanation:

Population of the city P before increment=16000

Population of the city Q ,

after increment=140006/58/7=19200=Q

after increment population ratio of P:Q=25:24

then we get population of the city P after increment=20000

then total increment of the city P= 20000-16000=4000

Answer: ()

Explanation:

Population of the city P before increment=16000

Population of the city Q ,

after increment=140006/58/7=19200=Q

after increment population ratio of P:Q=25:24

then we get population of the city P after increment=20000

then total increment of the city P= 20000-16000=4000

Lithium mining in the Atacama Desert has been linked to severe environmental impacts, including contamination of ecosystems and exacerbation of water scarcity. The Atacama Desert is already the driest place on Earth, and lithium extraction further strains its limited freshwater resources. Additionally, the process can harm local biodiversity, including species like flamingos that rely on the desert’s fragile ecosystems.
