Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah has paid tributes to the second Sikh Guru, Shri Angad Dev Ji, on the occasion of his Jyoti-Jyot Diwas.
In a post on X platform, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah said that by developing the holy Gurmukhi script, Guru Angad Dev Ji disseminated the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to the masses. He said that by strengthening the traditions of Langar and Sangat, he spread the message of service, equality, and brotherhood. Shri Shah said that his ideals continue to guide society to this day.
