A transparent look at the operational insights from the Foundation Program.
Every large-scale training initiative, especially one involving students from diverse academic and socio-economic backgrounds, naturally faces a set of operational and academic challenges. While the core objective of the programme was to provide structured and quality UPSC coaching support to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) aspirants, the implementation phase required continuous monitoring and flexibility to address real-time student needs.
Observation: Variation in study approach, particularly for students relying on Kannada medium resources. Action: We facilitated access to standard Kannada medium textbooks and reference materials, enabling aspirants to effectively follow classroom sessions.
Observation: Irregularity in weekly tests due to clashes with Optional subject classes. Action: Mentors provided flexible timing for tests, allowing students to balance classroom learning and evaluation without unnecessary pressure.
Observation: Anxiety regarding guidance after the completion of physical classes. Action: We ensured continued handholding through crash courses, test series support, and mentor guidance until the final examination stages.
This framework strengthened student confidence and ensured consistent test participation. To provide a more authentic perspective on the classroom experience, we documented student learning experiences through video reviews.
