A Free initiative – Open for all students writing Mains 2025
LAMP (Live Answer Writing for Mains Program) is a free initiative, open to all students appearing for UPSC Mains 2025.
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is often described as the “mother of all exams” for good reason. It is a test that constantly evolves, challenging aspirants in ways as unpredictable as life itself. While many attribute success in this exam to luck, the truth is far more empowering—once you begin this journey, it must be faced with determination, confidence, and consistent effort.
If you have cleared Prelims 2025, you are already among a fortunate few. This is your golden opportunity to prove yourself and secure a place in the final selection list.
However, many aspirants who reach the Mains stage often express regret later: they couldn’t complete the paper on time, struggled to structure their answers, couldn’t articulate their thoughts clearly under pressure, or had to rush through the final questions. These challenges are not uncommon, and they can cost a candidate their dream—especially if they haven’t practiced enough or trained their mind to stay composed in uncertain situations.
One thing is certain from years of experience—there are no shortcuts to success in UPSC. It requires commitment, discipline, and daily hard work. No matter where you stand in your preparation today, you must make the most of the time you have to become Mains-ready by 20th September 2025.
It’s not rocket science. It’s about being SMART—that means consistently revising your short notes, writing answers regularly, getting feedback, learning from peer reviews, and making steady improvements.
We have also observed that while many test series exist, very few are genuinely student-friendly. Some aspirants cannot afford expensive programs but still need guidance, structured practice, and a focused environment.
To support such dedicated students, InsightsIAS is launching LAMP—a completely free and thoughtfully designed initiative. It will provide a serious, exam-like atmosphere where students can practice answer writing daily, sharpen their skills, and condition their minds to perform under pressure.
Through this initiative, we aim to offer every committed aspirant the guidance, practice, and confidence they need to clear Mains 2025.
Features of LAMP 2025 :
• This initiative is open for all aspirants writing Mains 2025
• Available in both Online & Offline modes at our centres – Bengaluru, Delhi,Srinagar & Davanagere.
• Timings: You can write in any of the 3 slots which will be provided once course starts
• Intake is limited to 200 students and it is based on first come first serve basis
• Daily Live Answer Writing for 10 Questions in time-bound manner in exam like environment for 50 days GS (1-3): FIVE 10marker questions and FIVE 15 Marker Questions to be written in 1 hour GS 4: 7 theory questions and 3 Case studies (1 hour) Essay: 1 Essay to be written in 1.5 hours
• Tests are conducted subject-wise in the order of GS papers
• There is Full length Revision Test for every GS paper (Duration 3 hours and 20 Questions)
• There is a Simulation round after all the subjects are completed
• Post test, there will be PEER discussion for 30 minutes
• Best answer copy will be posted in the Telegram channel
• Mentorship for students taking the tests in the offline mode

• Admissions on first come first serve basis
• You need to upload your UPSC CSE Admit Card in the portal (this is to check students who have not cleared Prelims 2025 from taking admissions)
