Kerala Assembly elections: RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav joins LDF campaign; Pinarayi Vijayan hails support

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday (April 1, 2026) welcomed the arrival of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to campaign for the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the upcoming Assembly polls, saying the latter’s presence would bolster efforts to “protect the country’s secular fabric.”
In a post on X, Mr. Vijayan thanked Mr. Yadav for extending solidarity and joining the LDF’s campaign in Kerala for the April 9 elections.

Mr. Yadav, who reached Malappuram to campaign for CPI(M) candidate M.K. Sakeer in the Ponnani constituency on Tuesday, also expressed gratitude to the people for their support.
